📋 About PERA

The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) was established under the Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Act, 2024. Its aim is to streamline regulatory measures across Punjab for effective enforcement of special laws. PERA is Pakistan’s first provincial-level body dedicated to enforcing laws against inflation, hoarding, and land encroachments.

PERA is envisioned as a specialized civilian body focused on non-criminal regulatory enforcement – such as price control, land use, environmental compliance, and minor civic violations. The authority has 154 enforcement stations operating across Punjab.

⚠️ Important Note: No relaxation in age, education, or physical standards will be allowed for any candidate, including existing government servants. The Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation in Upper Age Limit) Rules do not apply to these posts.

📜 Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Educational Qualification

The candidate must have Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

🎂 Age Limit

The candidate must be between 18 and 26 years of age. No age relaxation is applicable.

🏠 Domicile

The candidate must have a valid Punjab domicile. Merit shall be calculated on the basis of District Cadre.

📏 Physical Standards

👨‍🦰 For Male Candidates

  • BMI: 27 or below
  • Height without shoes: 173 cm
  • One Mile Running: 7 minutes (minimum)
  • Chest Measurement: Non-Expanded – 32″, Expanded – 34″ or above
  • Chest Expansion: Minimum 2 inches mandatory
  • Eyesight: 6/6 with glasses
  • Color Blindness: Ineligible

👩‍🦰 For Female Candidates

  • BMI: 27 or below
  • Height without shoes: 162 cm
  • One Mile Running: 11 minutes (minimum)
  • Chest Measurement: Not applicable

📝 How to Apply

First, go to the Punjab Job Portal. Then, register yourself by creating an account with your CNIC, email, and mobile number. After that, complete your educational profile with Matric and Intermediate details. Next, apply for the advertised PERA Sergeant position and upload the required documents. Finally, pay the challan and download your identification slip for the physical test.

💡 Payment Process: Open any Mobile Banking App → Payment Option → Payment Service → 1Bill Service → Enter PSID → Make Payment. PSID can be seen in the “Saved Jobs” section of the Punjab Job Portal after application.

📋 Selection Process

The selection process has several stages. First, you must submit an online application through the Punjab Job Portal. Then, the authority will verify your documents. After that, candidates who pass verification will be issued slips for physical tests. Next, you will appear for a written examination. Finally, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and medical examination.

💰 Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a salary package as per BS-07 scale plus PERA Special Allowance. However, the special allowance will not be admissible during the training period.
