- Step 2: Entrance test (Computer-based intelligence & academic test)
- Step 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups
- Step 4: Preliminary medical examination
- Step 5: Interview
- Step 6: ISSB test and interview (for officer candidates)
- Step 7: Final medical at CMH/Naval Hospital
- Step 8: Final merit list by Naval Headquarters
