Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education (NFBE), Punjab announces recruitment of Potential Teachers for ALP across 36 districts.
Program Overview
The Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) is a remedial education initiative by the Government of Punjab to bring out-of-school children and over-aged learners back into mainstream education. ALP teachers play a vital role in adult literacy and community learning. The program is implemented through the Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education (NFBE), Punjab.
Selected teachers will be responsible for teaching a group of 25–30 learners (aged 16 and above) in their respective union councils. This is a 6-month contract (non-extendable) with a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,500 plus a one-time scholarship of Rs. 20,000 for professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
Minimum Graduation (14 years) with 50% marks. B.Ed / M.Ed preferred.
Age Limit
20 to 55 years (as per last date of application)
Gender
Male, Female & Transgender eligible
Domicile
Punjab (candidate must belong to same district/tehsil/UC where they will teach)
Required Documents
- Valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Educational certificates (Matric to Graduation) – attested copies
- Domicile certificate of Punjab
- Recent passport-size photographs (2 copies)
- Experience certificate (if any, for teaching)
- Undertaking that candidate belongs to the same UC/tehsil

- No need to send hard copy by post; only online applications will be accepted.
